The Department of Biostatistics offers courses for three degree programs within the department (PhD, MS, and MPH) as well as courses for students from other departments and program. Students in the Department of Biostatistics also take courses offered by the Department of Statistics and the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Course Offerings Class…
Course description. This course is designed to introduce students to basic concepts of epidemiology and biostatistics. Selected sections from textbooks and recent primary literature are used. Students learn how to critically read published epidemiological studies and understand the study design analyses and conclusions drawn from the studies.
In this course, you'll extend simple regression to the prediction of a single outcome of interest on the basis of multiple variables. 5. Introduction to Biostatistics (Yale School of Medicine) This course has been discontinued. This introductory course consists of a series of 10 lectures.
