Hypemephroma comprises about 85-90% of renal malignancy in adults. The natural course of hypemephroma is very diverse and unpredictable from abrupt explosive growth with wide spread metastasis to asymptomtic slow growth for several years. Twenty separate infarction procedures with absolute ethanol were performed on eighteen renal tumors in seventeen patients at Department of Radiology, Seoul National University Hospital since 1982. Fifteen were hypernephroma cases and two were angiomyolipoma cases. Поступил пациент с гематурией.

The characteristic appearance of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a solid renal lesion which disturbs the renal contour. It will frequently have an irregular or lobulated margin and may be seen as a lump on the lower pelvic or abdomen region. Hypernephroma can also produce a bulging renal contour (Figs. 10.25, 10.27).
